Terms

1. General

a) Membership fee includes facilitation of weekly fitness sessions and informal monthly dinner catch ups. Any other costs associated with undertaking weekend activities such as facilitation, entry fees, equipment hire, food and beverage will be at the participant’s expense. Buddiup will use best endeavours to keep any extra required costs as minimal as possible.

b) If any session is required to be cancelled due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances, a replacement session will be scheduled where possible.

c) You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the registered participant

d) You confirm that all information provided to Buddiup for the registered participant (including medical information, medications, contact persons and persons authorised to collect the child) is accurate and complete in all respects and will be promptly updated by you as and when required.

e) You confirm that if the registered participant has additional needs, a history of challenging behaviours, any medical conditions, or is the subject of a court or other governmental order, you will inform Buddiup by providing the required documentation.

2. Authority of Buddiup staff and representatives

a) You authorise Buddiup staff and representatives, In the event of accident or illness, to administer appropriate first aid, and to obtain all necessary medical assistance and treatment for your child, including ambulance transportation, and agree to meet any expense for such medical assistance and treatment.

3. Photographs and Videos

a) In the course of providing its programs, Buddiup will normally take photographs and videos of the participants. Buddiup requests your consent to Buddiup using such photographs and videos of participants for the following purposes:

i) advertising and marketing of the Buddiup programs,

ii) sharing experiences on social media.

iii) development of Buddiup professional educational material for training purposes and internal Buddiup communications

b) If you provide your consent to such uses, but subsequently wish to revoke it, then it is your responsibility to notify Buddiup in writing

4. Monthly recurring membership

a) There is no minimum commitment period to Team Buddiup membership. Participant membership will rollover monthly unless advised in writing of a specified end date/month.

5. Putting your membership on hold

b) Memberships can be put on hold for a maximum of two months to accommodate for holidays or personal needs. If membership is not re-activated after the two months, this will be treated as a cancellation with the standard 30-day cancellation period being applied.

6. Cancellation of membership

a) Membership can be cancelled at any time by providing Buddiup with 30-days written notice. Any cancellation date that falls within an invoicing period will be charged a pro-rata amount.

7. Payment

a) Participant will be invoiced monthly membership fee on the 1st of each month. Invoice to be paid within 7 days. New memberships within a monthly invoicing period will be pro-rata charged from date of joining.

8. Support Workers

a) 1:1 support workers are more than welcome to attend sessions and activities with participants. 1:1 supports can be arranged as an extra service by Buddiup.
